Wow two posts in one day.

I haven’t posted in here in awhile so I thought I should catch up a little.  I haven’t been feeling real well and it is about to get to me.  I just don’t feel up to doing the things I want to do and I don’t like that.  Anyone who is suffering from a chronic disease knows what I mean.  You have your good days and bad, but when the bad out weigh the good you start to get depressed.  That is where I am right now.  I usually won’t write in here when I am like this because I don’t want to bring anyone else down with me.

All that being said, I have had some good things happen in the last week.  First my DD and I went up north for two days and one night, last week-end.  We had a good time, went shopping and visited my DS  youngest son.

I love those week-ends when we just hang out.  It don’t come to often my DH is a very busy Mother of two great boys. She is an outdoors kind of girl and raises a big garden and does all kinds of canning and freezing. She is a master gardener and starting a new career in teaching.

Her Birthday was this past Friday so we spent so time with her and her family and eat this new cake that I made. It had layers of fresh strawberries, blueberries, angel food cake and whipped topping.  OH sooooooo good.  Not diet that day.  haha

I made her a necklace and earring set and a jewerly box.  The picture is in my Flickr album.  Some of you have already seen it and have commented on them.

I haven’t been real busy with my polymer lately I get some ideas but just don’t seem to be able to work on them.  Hopefully this week will be different and I will get some of those done.  I want to add some to my Etsy store.  I made a sale last week and that really made my day.  I haven’t sold much but then I don’t work on it like I should.  If any one has an ideas that would help me out I would be glad to hear them.

Well until next time I hope you all are in good health and are happy.

Happy Clay-zie Day, CraftyLinda

And the winner is

I my post on July 25 about Cindy Lietz’s treasure hunt I told you about how it was going to work.  Well, yesterday I received the email that told us who won.  It was Cindy Erickson!! Congratulations again Cindy.  Cindy Erickson has written in a couple times saying how happy she is.  I hope she keeps us all informed on all the things she making using the videos that she won.

If you haven’t checked it out yet you should Cindy Lietz site is great.  She loves to chit chat with everyone and has lots of good information.  Her motto of ” I learned by my mistakes ..now you don’t have to” is right on the mark.  She has articles on everything from pricing your beads to buffing.

Thanks again to Cindy Leitz not only for a great website but on the treasure hunt that was so much fun and educational.

Two sites to check out

I was looking around for some ideas this morning and ran across this site. Krafty Lady.

What a world of inspiration, moulds and information. She has moulds of everything you

can think of, leaf, frogs, masks, faces, corners to make your own frames for scrap booking.

Not only does she show you the moulds but has pictures of some of the things that were created

using those moulds. I have spent an hour on her site and haven’t seen a 1/4 of what she has.

She has Ostrich feathers, thistle weed, Egypt design, Christmas, Easter, I could go on and on

but I think you should go and have a look for yourself. Make sure you have everything you need for

a long sit down because you will want to stay there awhile.

Also while I was looking around on her site I found another site that sells Krafty Lady moulds.

http://www.amstamps.com

Which has tutorials, challenges and contests. She also sales things like jewelry bails, pin backs and glue, etc.

They have what is called Memories Mist which creates fantasy textured effects on any surface.

I can’t say I know how you use them but it says it can be heat set on any porous surface such

as clay. They have some really nice patterns. And a flat rate shipping of $5.00.

You can sign up to her mailing list to get the latest on the challenges and other things.

I hope you have enjoyed my blogging about these sites and will take a look at them.

Also while you are here I would like to mention that I am going to be adding some new things to my Etsy shop, in the next few days.  Please take a look when you have the time. Thanks.

Have a great day and hope to “see” you in a few days.
